Ontario Laws On Tinting Windows

Yes, tinted windows are legal in Ontario. However, conditions apply. For example, you are allowed to tint your rear windows to an extent of your choosing, but front windows can only be tinted up to 30%, and your windshield shouldn't be tinted at all.

Remember that the front windshield must have minimal tinting that does not obstruct the driver's view, and the front side windows must allow at least 70% light transmission. Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be tinted as desired, but dual side mirrors are necessary.
